Your Bio

I am an amateur photographer, a serious one. And a Lomographer, since 2008, to boot.

Sadly, I do not have much experience, only doing this since 2004, but I have a need to capture and preserve. I need to learn and improve. A need to live....... I need to be in the darkroom of my soul, the only light that pleases me are the ones coming through the lenses of my cameras.

I was a proud South African, once, now I am living in exile, since 2001, in Seoul,South Korea . This country and her people are good for me, and to me. May the Rose of Sharon sparkle forever.

South Africa, the country for which I shed my blood, mournfully, is returning to Africa. My beloved land is being forced on her knees, Africanism is having his brutal, repulsive way with her.

Look.....look ahead, the lights had gone out! Do I hear the masses floating down, hungry, unthinking, uncontrollable, unseeing, the locusts of the human race? Do I hear "Uhuru" wispered in the wind of their wings....?

God help us. NKosi Sikilela i Africa.... lest we forget.

South Africa, An Implosion. : Can not see myself return to my country permanently. Not when the social fibre disintegrated to the extend that crime is okay, powercuts are okay, violent murders and farm killings are okay, corruption is okay, the non-providing of services are fine and let's be brutally honest, ethnic cleansing is okay, too. Oh, yes, and uhuru is coming..... the quiet giant, the man amoungst men, my Madibe Nelson Mandela can not live forever. "Madiba, father, may God bless you. How can anyone in his right mind be subjected to almost 20,000 violent murders a year and say the are happy? How can one not be very afraid when the next president has already been charged with rape, with corruption and fraud? The same president to be, an uneducated man controlled by the labour unions and communists? That man who asked for his AK47 when he was dismissed as vise president.....? He who is seen as the next messiah of the oppressed in a country where democracy means oppression by the masses, where the thousand of criminals have a vote, too? God help us.
